This transition was solidified when he gained admission to the University of Ilorin to study Human Kinetics, a course that aligns with his interests in sports and health. Abubakar started playing football around the age of 5 or 6, inspired by his elder brother, who acted as both a guide and mentor in the sport. His early experiences with football not only nurtured his athletic skills but also helped him learn to read and write through his engagement with the game. The lack of electricity has rendered the boreholes partially functional.  Mr. Oyewale stated that although the government provides a functional borehole and a generator in the community but the rise of fuel prices have made it difficult to obtain fuel for the generator. "We have lived in peace in the community," she said. However, Mrs. Atoyebi noted that one of the major challenges facing the community presently is the lack of transportation, such as taxis and tricycles. The community relies solely on okada riders, who charge exorbitant prices. Mrs. Atoyebi also recalled a period when the community was plagued by robberies targeting motorcycle riders. The charges stem from an incident that occurred in February 2024 at Amber Village, along Ajase-Ipo/Offa Road, Kwara State. The Prosecution Counsel, Ayoola Idowu Akande brought to the court, four men who were allegedly conspired to vandalize a parboiling elevator machine and steal various items including; 1,500 metres of 300mm single cord of imported armoured cable, valued at the sum of 54 Million Naira, 20 metres of 150mm single cord of made in Nigeria armoured cable, valued at the sum of 310 Thousand Naira, 100 MPCB circuit breaker, valued at 17 Million Naira and batteries valued at 2.5 Million Naira, with the total sum of Seventy Three Million, Eight Hundred and Ten Thousand Naira (N73,810,000). Despite its rich cultural heritage, the community is facing numerous challenges that threaten its very existence. The community leader, Baale Alhaji Abdulrahamen Ajadi, shared his concerns with us, and his words painted a picture of a community in dire need of help.
